“To spark hope by exploring new angles and perspectives that inspire conscious-guided living. Imagine the world you want to exist…then build it!”

This journal was created to help bring awareness to alternative lifestyles (communal, rural, independent, nomadic), agrarian lifestyles, and faith-based lifestyles by means of stories, videos and podcasts as a way to share the hope others have inspired in me.

To explore new angles and perspectives that inspire and lead others to believe that we may not be able to save the world entirely, but that we can live in ways that are honoring to the earth and to the Creator of heaven and earth who has put the earth, the creatures, ourselves and all humanity into our care for stewardship; that we can live in a way that honors the voice of our conscience.

To highlight the lives of individuals and groups who are living exemplary lives and to give more credence to those who are less recognized for the great contributions they make in their quiet, simple, humble lifestyles.

To be a voice for the voiceless. To show the world the lesser known world I’ve seen that I never knew existed until I looked for it, one that is less covered by mainstream media. To influence others to be more human, more generous, more kind.

To offer solutions to modern social problems, especially in terms of quality of life. To highlight pressing matters of socioeconomic and environmental nature that need more recognition and better, alternative solutions.

To share my personal stories and journey along the way. To bring coverage to the various places I travel to or network with remotely throughout the US and Internationally, bringing journalistic exposure to the people and places I will stay with, live with, work for or interview.

Vision

I envision slow-traveling to various places throughout the US and Internationally to bring journalistic exposure to people and places of interest such as farms, gardens, families, communities, communes, individuals and organizations aligned with mission values, who offer warm hospitality and a willingness to foster a world where people get along, have mutual respect in varying lifestyles and encourage people helping other people.
